FeedBurner is (not) burning - updated

As Bugleack noticed today feedburner is down.

I see the same Java error message, on the home page.

Still our feeds and presumably millions of others feeds on FeedBurner are displaying a more communicative error.

FeedBurner was adquired by Google back on May for about $100 Millions.

Personally I started using the feeds management services provided by FeedBurner with web2.0flow, but a quick search show some of issues on the service: like lost feeds and lost statistics, also found that the statistics on feedburner can be cheated.

Taking a look around I found one (only one) alternative to FeedBurner: Feed Manager by VeriSign, and a great article on SEOmoz about the process of traking feeds.

Update: Finishing this post the home page and our feed on FeedBurner seems to work fine, looking forward to their blog to know what happened.
