Current - potential… closed potential
Jumping from here to Current. Just fascinating way to make an entrance in User Generated Content. The only way to explain this site is their very own tutorial.
Current is a closed system
That means there is not way to get the content out from the website. No RSS feeds, no way to embed video, no widget to take with you, etc.
That is just unforgivable in a website that rely on UGC, the people like to take credit for the content they submit, and want to take their content away and post it on other sites, that´s why YouTube is so popular, you can take your videos and put it in… wherever you want. Share is a word to take in count by the Current team (beyond spam the friends you may have inside the site).
Finally
Just miss a way to take their content out, but still a great way to make a website centered on UGC. Hope this will change in the next weeks.
